More than 75 intern doctors of Agartala Government Medical College, the biggest government medical college of Tripura, on Wednesday called a strike demanding a regular payout of monthly stipends. The new medicos were bereft of their monthly stipends for last two months amidst COVID19 pandemic. The doctors confronting the delay said that they would not join their duties until their money was paid.
