Tripura apex body TIPRA's Chief Pradyot Manikya shared images of gross irregularities in GB Pant Hospital where images were sent to him a relative of a deceased patient.
He tweeted, "disturbing pic was sent to me by the granddaughter of a COVID patient who passed away at the GB Hospital. I personally spoke to her and it is shocking to hear that the family has gone through a lot of pain. I am requesting the State Govt to please investigate this matter".

He further said that "The biggest irony is that she was cremated in a bag and after her cremation the report came that she was negative . This delay did not even give her a dignified cremation in the end . I again request the state govt to investigate the matter".
Earlier, the BJP-led Tripura government has initiated a magisterial inquiry against its own MLA and axed health minister Sudip Roy Barman for entering in a COVID care center set up in Shahid Bhagat Singh Youth Hostel allegedly without ‘unauthorizedly’.
