The Joint Secretary, Department of Finance, Tripura Sudhakar Shinde passed away on Friday at the age of 35. Shinde was suffering from COVID-19.
According to reports, Shinde went to Maharastra in his house for a holiday, where he tested positive for COVID-19. He breathed his last when he was being taken to the hospital in Pune.
Chief Minister of Tripura, Biplab Kumar Deb condoled the demise of the IAS officer and wrote on his twitter, “Deeply shocked and saddened by sudden demise of Sudhakar Shinde,IAS,Tripura cadre. He succumbed to Covid 19 in Nanded. He was one of the finest,gentle & exceptional officer, it's a big loss for the state. Spoke to his wife to offer my deepest condolences to her & family
Shinde was brought to Pune's Ruby Hall Clinic on October 9. The medical director at the clinic, Dr. Sanjay Pathare said that his pulse was flat by the time he had reached the clinic. He said that the officer died of coronavirus before reaching the hospital.
