TRIPURA: POLICE BUST ILLEGAL KEROSENE OIL RACKET

A team of police today busted a racket involved in illegal kerosene oil business in  Tripura capital Agartala. In a joint raid by AD Nagar Police, Food Department and Sadar administration, huge amount of Kerosene were recovered from Drop Gate area of Agartala. However, no member of the racket has been arrested so far.

It may be mentioned that irregularities in the Kerosene distribution system has been on the rise in Tripura which has made consumers to buy it at almost double the fair price but hardly any action has been taken against the illegal marketing of kerosene.
