“When I reached the Airport, I had been told that I need to follow the quarantine protocols. I reached the police station and gave the address of my in-laws. They directed me to go there and to see whether they accept me or not. I waited for six hours but no response came up. I had gone to the police repeatedly and even approached the local Panchayat but my in-laws kept on deferring the date of the meeting and tried to bribe me so that I leave my husband”, the girl alleged in Tripura.
