In a first for Northeast India, a Silchar based scientist now posted at Tripura University Agartala has designed a robot using indigenous materials to thwart COVID 19 contraction among the health officials, explicitly, while treating COVID infected patients. The Polymer engineering professor Harjeet Nath, developed his “COVID 19 Warbot”—what he calls his invention, with the sole purpose to help the frontline warriors from getting infected by the deadly contagion.
The “COVID 19 Warbot” stands upon a box-shaped structure that has been attached to four wheels that ensures the free movement of it. The electronic transmission system has been used in it so that it can be operated from 20-meter distance at the most and it has the ability to bear a weight of 30 Kgs. There four racks in it which are specifically pointed out as to how much weight can be used there so that it does not topple while moving.
