Tribal areas witnessing growing faith in BJP governance: Tripura CM Manik Saha

As preparations intensify for the upcoming Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (TTAADC) elections, Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha on Saturday, January 10 asserted that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is witnessing growing support across tribal-dominated regions of the state.

Speaking during his visit to the Kanchanpur area, the Chief Minister said the BJP leadership is actively reaching out to all ADC regions in the run-up to the polls. He claimed that tribal communities are increasingly placing their trust in the BJP, particularly under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Manik Saha highlighted that a significant number of families formally joined the BJP during his visit, underlining what he described as a clear shift in political confidence among tribal voters. According to him, more than 200 families, comprising 759 voters, joined the party in Kanchanpur alone.

The Chief Minister further stated that a strong belief has taken root among tribal communities that sustainable development and upliftment can be achieved only through the BJP and the leadership of Prime Minister Modi. He maintained that the party’s governance model and focus on inclusive growth have resonated strongly with indigenous populations across Tripura.
