“All five had been absconding for a long time in connection with two separate human trafficking cases,” Das informed.
Police sources confirmed that the operation was meticulously planned to apprehend the traffickers who had been evading arrest for months. Further investigation is underway to dismantle the full network involved in trafficking activities.
Authorities have assured that strict action will be taken against all those associated with the human trafficking racket.
