Tripura gears up for Prime Minister’s visit, CM reviews preparations

Tripura is making final preparations for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Udaipur on September 22, where he will inaugurate the newly developed premises of the Mata Tripura Sundari Temple in Gomati district.

Chief Minister Manik Saha on September 18 inspected the temple site as well as the OTPC Helipad Ground in Palatana, which will host key events during the visit. He was accompanied by ministers, legislators and senior officials while reviewing infrastructure and beautification works carried out under the Centre’s PRASAD scheme.

During the inspection, Saha instructed departments to complete all arrangements on time and suggested improvements where necessary.

The state administration has prioritised the project, with the temple town undergoing extensive decoration ahead of the inauguration.

The Chief Minister also assessed preparations at the Palatana Helipad Ground and directed officials to ensure smooth management of the event.

Senior leaders, including BJP state president Rajib Bhattacharjee, Finance Minister Pranajit Singha Roy, several MLAs, the Chief Secretary, DGP, and other top officials, joined the review.
