Meet Sudhangshu Das who is 35 years old and one of the fresh youth ministers of BJP in Tripura has taken oath on March 8 in presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi at Swami Vivekananda Maidan.
Sudhangshu who is the son of the late Indubhusan Das and his mother Rina Das. He was a medical representative has joined the BJP early in 2016.
He has completed his BA from Ram Krishna Mahavidyala College in the Kailashahar sub-division under the Unakoti district.

Earlier he worked in Congress and in 2013 he was Fatikroy Block Youth president.
In the 2023 Assembly election, Das contested from Fatikroy Assembly Constituency and won with 19, 570 votes defeating CPIM candidate Subrata Das.
Das’s wife Dr Debasmita Baidya works as a dentist at IGM hospital in Agartala.
In 2018, Das also won the election from the BJP ticket with more than 19, 000 votes and become an MLA.
Speaking about his victory, Sudhangshu Said, “This is expected victory because under the leadership of Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, and Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha has done a fantastic job across the state in the last five years. Our prime focus is on agriculture, health, education and etc. My intention will be to work for the last person of society”.
