Arunachal reports 3 more COVID-19 death, 253 new cases in 24 hours

ITANAGAR: In the past 24 hours, as many as three people infected with COVID-19 have been died in Arunachal Pradesh taking the death toll to 72.

On the other hand, the state reported 257 fresh cases of novel Coronavirus during the period bringing the state's cumulative number of positive cases to 21,110.

Of the total new cases, the Capital Complex region has topped with maximum 66 fresh cases followed by Changlang (38), Lohit (27), Tawang (23), Lower Subansiri (19), Lower Dibang Valley (16) Namsai (11) and West Siang (10), he said.

Arunachal currently has 2,164 active COVID-19 cases.

A total of 18,871 COVID-19 patients have so far been recovered from the disease.
