NSCN-IM cadres apprehended in Arunachal

Guwahati, November 14, 2018:

Security forces apprehended two suspected cadres of the military outfit National Socialist Council of Nagaland- Isak Muivah (NSCN-IM) from Longding in Arunachal Pradesh.

The detained persons have been identified as Akham Wangsu, and Banchoi Wangpon.

According to the security forces, the duo revealed that they were active members of the NSCN-IM and were engaged in extortion activities in the district on behalf of Jante Josham, self-styled Major of NSCN-IM.
