Reang youth allegedly held captive by Bengaluru landlord; Bubugra appeals for help

AGARTALA: A 23-year-old Reang youth from Agartala is reportedly trapped in his landowner's house in π‘π‘Žβ„Žπ‘Žπ‘›π‘Žπ‘™π‘™π‘– π‘”π‘Žπ‘‘π‘’ area of Bengaluru, Karnataka.

Royal scion and TIPRA party founder Pradyot Manikya (with the moniker of 'Bubugra') earlier today sent out a tweet seeking netizens to help the youth. He also shared the phone number via which the youth had called him.

"This boy from Tripura Rakhuma Reang called me up crying and said that he is being held captive by his landlord in bangalore. If anyone is there from YTF please help him . I also appeal to well-meaning citizens to help him come back 98803 53754 π‘π‘Žβ„Žπ‘Žπ‘›π‘Žπ‘™π‘™π‘– π‘”π‘Žπ‘‘π‘’ yelenka.

A Twitter user called Sam, shedding some light on the mystery, said that he called and spoke to him. "According to him he moved in the house a month ago. His roommates left the house while he was at work and dint pay rent for 2 months and stole the owner phone. So owner took his phone and document as a security until he clear 25k (rent+ stolen phone cost)."
