The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Arunachal Pradesh unit has hailed the state’s Budget 2025-26 as a "people’s budget," emphasizing its commitment to inclusive development and economic growth. Addressing a press conference at the Arunachal Press Club, BJP leaders praised the budget’s vision for fostering progress across sectors.
With a total outlay of Rs 39,842.23 crore, the budget reflects Arunachal Pradesh’s economic resilience, projecting Rs 4,607.72 crore in state-generated revenue, underscoring fiscal self-sufficiency. The government’s development strategy is built on four key pillars—people’s welfare, infrastructure expansion, economic empowerment, and innovation-driven growth.
Declaring 2025-26 as the "Year of Human Capital," the budget places special emphasis on skill development, education, and welfare initiatives aimed at youth, women, farmers, and marginalized communities. BJP leaders expressed confidence that the budget would accelerate the state’s development, ensuring equitable opportunities and long-term economic sustainability.
