In a terrifying accident in Arunachal Pradesh’s Tirap district, a Tata Sumo passenger vehicle skidded off the road and landed on the rooftop of a house in Khonsa town.
The mishap, which occurred near the local gas agency, was reportedly caused by a brake failure. The vehicle lost control and veered off the road, crashing onto the roof of a nearby residence and remaining suspended there.
Miraculously, all passengers inside the vehicle survived the incident. Authorities are yet to confirm the number of people injured, but locals rushed to the spot immediately after the accident to assist with rescue efforts.
The incident has once again raised concerns about vehicle maintenance and road safety in the hilly regions of Arunachal Pradesh.
