Dasanglu Pul receives rousing welcome as Arunachal's first woman Minister in two decades

Dasanglu Pul, newly inducted as the first woman Minister in the Pema Khandu-led BJP government was warmly welcomed on her first day at the Civil Secretariat. Pul, entrusted with the portfolios of Women & Child Development, Cultural Affairs, and Science & Technology, received accolades from BJP workers and leaders during a felicitation ceremony.
Expressing her gratitude, Minister Pul stated the significance of the Women & Child Development department in implementing welfare schemes for women and children. "Having previously served as an advisor in this department, I understand its critical role," she remarked. She also highlighted the importance of the Cultural Affairs portfolio in preserving and promoting Arunachal Pradesh's rich heritage in the modern era. "We must take necessary steps to safeguard our culture and traditions," she said.
Regarding the Science & Technology portfolio, Pul outlined her plans to formulate a strategic roadmap aimed at enhancing youth engagement in technological advancements. "Science and Technology are crucial for the development of our state, and I am committed to promoting innovation among our youth," she added.
Pul extended her thanks to the BJP party and Chief Minister Pema Khandu for the opportunity to serve in such pivotal roles. Her appointment marks a significant milestone, as she becomes Arunachal Pradesh's first woman Minister in twenty years.
