Man votes on behalf of the entire family in Karimganj

Guwahati, December 9, 2018:

In the continuation of panchayat polls, a man in Karimganj was spotted casting votes for his for the entire family members on Sunday.

He casted the vote in presence of the security and the polling officer in the polling station.

It may be mentioned that the polling for the second phase of panchayat election is underway for Nalbari, Barpeta, Bongaigaon, Dhubri, South Salmara-Mankachar, Goalpara, Cachar, Hailakandi, Karimganj and Hojai –  to elect Anchalik Panchayat and Zila Parishad members, Gaon Panchayat members and Gaon Panchayat presidents.
