2 Assam scribes arrested for 'blackmailing'

Two journalists from Assam were arrested for blackmailing a wine shop owner in Sivasagar district on Wednesday (January 6).
According to reports, the two journalists -- identified as Rintu Senchowa and Chandan Gogoi -- hail from Namti and Jhanji.
The Journalists have been accused of demanding Rs 1 lakh from a wine shop under the leadership of Apurba Gogoi, district president of the unemployed Security Council.
