4.7 magnitude earthquake jolts Assam

Guwahati (Assam), September 25, 2018:

An earthquake measuring 4.7 on the Richter scale jolted parts of Assam on Tuesday.

The earthquake of Magnitude 4.7, occurred at 9:17:33 am. The epicentre of the earthquake was Barpeta, Assam according to the Regional Meteorological Centre, Guwahati.

However, no major damage or loss of life were reported till the filing of this report.
