Gaurav Gogoi Urges Ministry to Rescue Assam Scholar Stuck in Isreal-Palestine Conflict

Congress MP Gaurav Gogoi on Thursday urged the External Affairs Ministry to rescue and bring back the Assam based scholar Naziha Tarannam who is stuck due to the Isreal-Palestine conflict.

Congress MP Gaurav Gogoi on Thursday urged the External Affairs Ministry to rescue and bring back the Assam based scholar Naziha Tarannam who is stuck due to the Isreal-Palestine conflict.

In a letter to External Affairs Minister, Gaurav Gogoi highlighted the plight of this Golaghat based scholar and asked the Ministry to take appropriate action to bring her back to her hometown safely.

“I shall be grateful if you could kindly instruct the concern authority to look into the matter and take appropriate action to bring her back to Assam, India safely”, added Gogoi in the letter.

Naziha Tarannm is a Chemistry Ph.D scholar at Ben Gurian University residing in Negrev, Isreal. Due to the ongoing conflict, the students of the university including Naziha are residing in the bunkers for survival. The family of Naziha is concerned and praying for her safe return.

Naziha is from Gogoi’s constituency Kaliabor.
