Alert: Heavy thunderstorms likely to affect various districts of Assam within 3 hours

Guwahati, April 30, 2019:

The duty meteorological Officer of the Regional Weather Forecasting Centre Regional Meteorological Centre has announced that thunderstorms accompanied with lightning and gusty wind speed ranging from 30–40 kmph is likely to occur in the districts Kokrajhar, Chirang, Baksa, Udalguri, Bongaigaon, Nalbari, Barpeta and Darrang districts within next 1/2 to 3 hours.

Light to Moderate to rainfall is very likely to affect these districts during this tenure.
