All flights from Northeast resume as 'Fani' makes its way out

Guwahati, May 6, 2019:

The flight operations in North East were resumed on Sunday. It may be mentioned that many flights had been canceled due to concerns over cyclone 'Fani'. Many flights were canceled on May 4 and May 5 as a precautionary step despite all the airports remained open in the region.

On Sunday (May 5), no flights were canceled, as informed by the Airport Authority of India.

As many as 81 flights were canceled from Guwahati, Dibrugarh, Lilabari, Agartala, Imphal and Dimapur airports, out of which nine were Guwahati bound flights and 14 were departing flights from Guwahati airport that were canceled on Friday.
