On Saturday a gang of 10 to 15 armed members allegedly robbed a hardware shop in Tinsukia in broad day light.
Sources said that the robbery took place in one of the busiest zones of Tinsukia where the gang robbed a shop named Gita Aluminum located in the main market. The gang were armed with guns and sharp weapons and robbed a huge amount o cash, mobile phones and DVR of the CCTV.
During the incident, owner Ramesh Agarwal was severely injured as the gang attacked him too. Ramesh was immediately taken to the civil hospital for further treatment.
Currently the police are investigating the complete matter and are searching the gang.
