KOKRAJHAR: A huge cache of arms and ammunition have been recovered in Bodoland Territorial Region's (BTR) Kokrajhar today.
The consignment was reportedly kept concealed underground.
The seized consignment includes 2 AK-56 rifles, 2 AK magazines, 42 AK bullets, and a 9 mm pistol with magazine.

The Assam police along with CRPF and SSB team recovered the consignment while carrying out a joint operation against illegal arms in different locations in the district on the basis of secret information regarding concealed arms and ammunitions in the deep forest area of Balujhora under Saraibil BOP of Gossaigaon Police station.
The extensive search operation was carried out under the leadership of Mukut Rabha, Additional Supperindent of police along with the staff in the jungle area of Balujhora near Ranganala between ride no. 4 and 5.
