Army provides medical assistance at Ulubari Village

Guwahati, October 6, 2018:

An Army unit of the Red Horns Division alongwith the civil administration organised a medical camp under Operation Sadbhavana at the remote Ulubari Village on Saturday.

With an aim to render medical assistance and spread health awareness, a team of six doctors from various discipline including four Army Doctors, along with paramedic staff and nursing staff provided their much needed expert consultancy.

Special teams from Leprosy, Malaria & Tuberculosis department also provided their services in the camp. Vital medicines for various ailments prevalent in the area were distributed to all the needy people, who had turned up for med camp in huge number.

A total 721 persons including women and children of Ulubari and nearby villages benefitted from the medical camp.
