Assam: 10,000 Yaba Tablets seized in Jorabat, one held

GUWAHATI: The East Guwahati Police District team Basistha PS on Thursday evening recovered 10,000 Yaba (Meth) tablets in 49 small packets.
The team apprehended a person in connection to the drug haul near Ganesh Mandir in Jorabat area in connection to the drug haul.

The accused has been identified as Jamal Ali(22) from Chaygaon, Kamrup Rural.
The packets of Yaba tablets were hidden inside the seat cover of the i10 vehicle (AS01AJ3698).
Further investigation is underway.
