Assam: 5.3 magnitude earthquake jolts Guwahati

A mild tremor shook parts of Assam on October 2. 

The earthquake of magnitude 5.3, occurred at around 6:15 pm on October 2.

The epicentre of the earthquake was located 3 km from Resubelpara of Meghalaya.

No incidents of damage has been reported so far.
