The All Koch Rajbongshi Students Union (AKRSU) stages three hour dharna infront of Deputy Commissioner’s office, Chirang today. The main aim behind the dharna is to fulfil the demands of Schedule tribe status and separate statehood which the Central and State government is ignoring their demands.
They even condemned the visit of the chairperson of the NCST Nand Kumar Sai and his team as they could not clarify the status of the Koch Rajbangsi’s. The AKRSU further stated that if no action is taken to solve their issues then they will take strict against it.
