Assam book fair to kick start from today

GUWAHATI: Assam Book Fair will open its gate from Today at the Assam Engineering Institute playground in Chandmari in Guwahati.
The Assam Publication Board decided to combine the ‘Guwahati Book Fair’ and the ‘Northeast Book Fair’ into one named ‘Assam Grontho Mela.’
The 12 days long ‘Assam Grontho Mela’ will be inaugurated by Education Minister Ranoj Pegu.
The Book Fair will conclude on January 9, 2022.
According to the board, over 300 books will be available at the book fair this year.
