Assam Eyeing to Capture South East Asian Market

Guwahati, June 8, 2019:

Assam Government is eyeing to capture the market of South East Asia. Disclosing this at a felicitation programme of students, Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal on Saturday said the government has undertaken steps to make Guwahati the epicenter of South East Asia.

“We have undertaken steps to make Assam the epicenter of South East Asian nations. We have set goals to capture the market of South East Asia,” Sonowal said.

While detailing the objective of organizing such felicitation programme, he said, “Our aim is to strengthen our human resources with modern education. Through hard work we can bring change in society.”

Sonowal said that the government has undertaken various programme to bring changes in the education system of the state.

“The objective of this programme is to establish Assam as the best state in India. We have undertaken various programmes to bring a change in educational milieu and system,” he said.

He further said that his government has undertaken various schemes so that no student is deprived.

“Our aim is to strengthen our human resources with modern education. Through hard work we can bring change in society,” Sonowal added.
