GUWAHATI: Several opposition leaders including ex Minister and Congress leader Late Rameswar Dhanowar's son Gautam Dhanowar joined BJP in Assam on Sunday.
Pradip Majhi, son of former minister & Congress leader Prithivi Majhi, has also joined the ruling party.
Along with the duo, Sailen Kalita also joined the party. Kalita was the Congress candidate for Patacharkuchi Assembly seat in 2016 Assembly elections.
Among others, Bodoland People’s Front (BPF) MCLA Rajiv Brahma and Prabhat Musahari
Assam BJP president Bhabesh Kalita welcomed all the new members to the party headquarters at Vajpayee Bhawan in Hengerabari.
