Assam: Govt. allocates 9 bighas of land to ACA to ease parking difficulties

The Assam Government today announced to hand over 9 bighas of land in Guwahati to Assam Cricket Association (ACA) for the construction of a multi-level parking space.

GUWAHATI: The Assam Government today announced to hand over 9 bighas of land in Guwahati to Assam Cricket Association (ACA) for the construction of a multi-level parking space.

The decision was taken in a cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, informed Assam Sports Minister Bimal Borah.

Taking to his twitter handle, the BJP leader informed, “President of ACA Shri Ramen Dutta, VP Shri Parikshit Dutta, GS Shri Devajit Lon Saikia (@lonsaikia), Director - Directorate of Sports & Youth Welfare (DSYW) Shri Pabitra Ram Khaund (IAS) and other senior officials were present on the occasion.”

 

The multi-level parking space in ACA is expected to ease parking woes for sports lovers.
