Assam | Guwahati-Haflong road blocked due to incessant rains

Halflong, May 1, 2019:

In a major setback to the transportation connectivity in the state, National Highway 27 (Haflong - Guwahati road) has been blocked due to heavy rain and has been submerged in water at N. Laikul near Jatinga in Dima Hasao district of Assam.

The disruption of road connectivity has created major problems in the region as commuters are facing problems due to the blockade of the roads. Moreover, trucks carrying goods have also been stranded due to the flooding.
