Assam: Huge cache of illegal arms, ammunitions busted in Katlibil, Belguri jungle

Based on source information regarding presence of illegal arms and ammunition, operations at two places launched by Kokrajhar Police today on 16.8.2020 afternoon in Assam

1. Katlibil jungle area under Saraibil BOP, Gossaigaon PS and
2. Belguri jungle area under Serfanguri PS

and following arms and ammunitions have been recovered:

1. 1 number MMG
2. 5 numbers of AK 56 rifles, magazines 4 numbers, ammn 244
3. 1 number INSAS rifle, 1 magazine, ammn 23
4. 3 numbers 9 mm pistol, magazine 5 numbers, ammunition 6
5. .22 Chinese gun 1, mag 2 ammn 5
6. No. 36 hand granade 1
7. Mmg chain
