In a search operation under the aegis of Dao division Joysagar Army alongwith police apprehended one over ground worker of ULFA (I) on 4th June at Halwating.
There was a network of over ground workers who were helping the insurgent groups in several nefarious activities which were mentioned by Army. The name of the over ground worker is Putul Dwarah (35) son of Buddeshwar Dwarah resident of Sunderpur, Sivsagar.
One .22 pistol, one live round, one magazine, one wallet and two sachets of brown suger have been recovered.
