Assam police arrests fake magistrate from Jorhat

JORHAT: A man pretending to be the magistrate of Titabar has been arrested today from Jorhat by Assam police.

The accused, Biswajit Dutta, had been arrested by Chinamara police today after he introduced himself as the magistrate of Titabar in Chinamara police station.

Police had seized a vehicle as well from Biswajit.

Last year Biswajit had introduced himself as a doctor as well.

The investigation is underway and further details awaited.
