GUWAHATI: The Karbi Anglong Police on Monday recovered 412 gm of heroin at Laharijan PP Naka check point.
The police also apprehended two people in this connection.
The accused were identified as Amzad Ali (37) and Syed Anish Khan (38), who hailed from Manipur.
The police team seized 30 soap boxes containing 412 gm of heroin from a Guwahati-bound vehicle coming from Manipur.
Informing the same, Assam Special DGP GP Singh tweeted, “It’s Heroin again: @karbianglongpol police recovered 30 soap boxes containing 412 gm of Heroin from a Guwahati-bound vehicle coming from Manipur, at Laharijan PP Naka check point on Sept 19. Two persons were apprehended”.
