MARGHERITA: Acting on a Tip of Margherita Police station Officer in charge Someswar Konwar on Friday night seized one Tata Magic Passenger Vehicle illegally loaded with 7 sacks of Coal concealed inside the passenger seat.
The Vehicle Tata Magic Passenger bearing registration number AS 23 CC 5224 was coming from Namdang under Margherita Police station the driver fled from the spot which Margherita police seized both the illegal coal and vehicle.
It may be mention that now a days illegal Traders of Margherita Region under Tinsukia District are applying new tactics to Transport illegal coal loaded vehicle to other places such as concealed under sand,Grean tea leaves and plank.
Both the seized Tata Magic Passenger Vehicle and illegal 7 sacks of coal is under Margherita Police station where further investigation is going on till filling of this report.
