Assam police seizes heroin in Dibrugarh; one held

DIBRUGARH: A team of Assam police led by DSP Achurya Jibon Baruah, and Bularam Terong seized 292 grams of suspected brown sugar (heroin) from Kalibari Railway Colony in Dibrugarh.

A suspected smuggler -- Buli Dey -- has been arrested with the drugs in the evening yesterday. The value of the drugs seized is said to be around Rs. 80 lakh.
