A rally to protest the Citizenship Amendment Bill was organized by the Akhil Moran Sanstha in cooperation with many other organizations. The rally witnessed a huge number of Protesters from all quarters.The rally which started from Thana Chariali was led to the District Commissioner's office.The protesters chanted slogans to voice their concern. They through the District Commissioner submitted a memorandum by collecting signatures of around one Lakh people and representatives of around ten thousand organizations to be given to the President, Prime Minister, JPC Chairperson, Chief Minister and Governor.
