Assam’s aspirant candidate Rupam Talukdar clear IES

Guwahati, November 29, 2018:

Assam’s aspirant candidate Rupam Talukdar successfully cleared the Indian Economic Service (IES) examination, conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC).

Rupam hails from Patsala is the only candidate from Assam to clear the IES in his first attempt.

He is currently pursuing PhD under Gauhati University.

Rupam said, “Poverty should be taken as a challenge. Some people remain mentally backward and some others economically backward. One should not think himself or herself as destitute.”
