GUWAHATI: Parul Das, the first woman IAS officer of Assam passed away today.

She was undergoing treatment at Apollo hospital, Guwahati after being infected with the deadly COVID-19, where she succumbed to the virus.

Parul Das also served as Assam's Additional Chief Secretary.
