Big Breaking| Citizenship (Amendment) Bill, 2016 not to be discussed in the winter session of Parliament

Guwahati, December 10, 2018:

A joint parliamentary committee, which is examining the contentious Citizenship (Amendment) Bill, 2016, was likely to table its report during the winter session of Parliament, which led to the ongoing protest by several organisations. But the much controversial proposed Citizenship (Amendment) Bill, 2016 that was to be passed in the winter session of the Lok Sabha Assembly is not on the list of discussion in both the houses.
