Cachar DC orders probe into leaking of NRC list over WhatsApp

Cachar Deputy Commissioner (DC) Dr S Lakshman has ordered a probe into the sensational incident of sharing of draft of National Register of Citizens (NRC) on social media platform WhatsApp.

The list containing names included in the NRC draft was allegedly leaked and widely shared on WhatsApp on July 31.
