    Central minister assures UPLA on separate state

    Guwahati, October 3, 2018:

    Union Minister of State for Home, Hansraj Gangaraj Ahir, has reportedly assured the United People’s Liberation Army (UPLA) that a panel discussion would be held soon where the issue of creation of separate Karbi Anglong hill state would be discussed.

    The assurance was reportedly made to a six-member UPLA delegation in Bengaluru on Tuesday.
