Col Manoranjan Goswami passes away

Guwahati, November 9, 2018:

Retired army officer from Assam, Colonel Manoranjan Goswami, passed away in Mumbai early Friday morning after a prolonged illness.

He was the father of renowned journalist Arnab Goswami. The final rites will be performed in Guwahati on Saturday afternoon.

The Goswami senior was a founder member of the BJP in Assam and had contested the 1998 Lok Sabha elections on the party’s ticket from Guwahati.
