“Congress govt will enhance education, healthcare across Assam”: Gaurav Gogoi

Gaurav Gogoi on Sunday, March 1, said that education and healthcare systems across Assam would be significantly upgraded if the Congress forms the next government after the Assembly elections.

Leading the ‘Samay Paribartanar Yatra’ in Dibrugarh district, the Assam Congress president asserted that welfare schemes for women would be delivered without requiring them to attend any party meetings.

“When the Congress comes to power, women will receive the benefits of various schemes directly. We want to create a better environment for education and healthcare in every village, including tea garden areas,” Gogoi said.

He further stated that the party aims to empower women by promoting small-scale enterprises, enabling them to become self-reliant and financially independent.
