COVID-19 cases will decrease in October: Himanta Biswa Sarma

Assam Health & Family Welfare minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Thursday said that COVID-19 cases may decrease in the state in October. He stated that positivity rate in Assam has already reached 2.41%.

Sarma expressed hope that the people will continue using mask and maintain social distance. He urged the people to maintain restraints during Durga Puja celebrations.

Sarma said that the positivity rate will come down if we can maintain some restraints. It has already reached 2.41.
