DON BOSCO STATUE DESECRATED IN CULTURAL CAPITAL OF ASSAM

Guwahati, October 3, 2018:

A statue of Don Bosco was desecrated in Tezpur, the cultural capital of Assam recently. The statue erected in front of the Bishop’s house was desecrated by unidentified miscreants on the night of September 29.

Talking to InsideNe, Sonitpur Superintendent of Police Prithipal Singh said that an FIR has been registered with the police and investigation is on to nab the culprits. It may be mentioned that a similar incident happened in Guwahati a couple of years ago.
