Earthquake measuring 4.1 jolts parts of Assam

GUWAHATI: An earthquake measuring 4.1 magnitude jolted parts of Assam at 5.33 pm this evening.

The quake occurred at a depth of 3.8 kilometers at latitude 26.32 and longitude 92.54.

The impact of the tremor was also felt in adjoining areas, of the Tezpur, Nagaon district including Guwahati city.

The epicenter was the same Tezpur.

However, no damages to life or property have been reported so far.
